You say you are passionate about something, what you would do for it?
Well, I have chosen this way to keep it alive. Professionally being in web technology from more than 6 years now, I thought about hosting a website to share my experience. Being a nature lover and conservationist, my hobbies are very much close to the same. Primarily being driven towards nature, I have covered many treks in “Sahyadri and Himalayas too. Cycling is my latest passion, as I travel daily to my office on my bike. Yoga is a part of my life and you can wonder what helps me stay so cool.
Not everyone is aware of the beauty of “Sahyadri, places to visit in terms of trekking and mountaineering. I started trekking 10 years back in “Sahyadri” ranges, and am still discovering a lot, it’s been untouched and unknown to common people.
With this thought, I would like to spread a word about it with you folks. As an active member of Youth Hostel Association of India (YHAI) Goregaon unit, I have started leading treks and taking groups to these mountain ranges. I have been successful in creating interest among fellows towards nature walk and trekking.
This monsoon started with a great boom with heavy downpour happening all over, when we few risked it for a trek. It really gave me a boost to take this website work very seriously and started building it. This website is not only for my organization, but also for all groups who do such great work and make people aware of this beautiful hobby. With this noble thought, I decided to post schedule and information of all trekker groups on this website for free. This is a platform to NGO and groups who are share this passion and on no profit no loss basis. They can submit their schedules to me and I’ll make sure to put it online for free and also spread the information as much as I can.
Now that I have started this exercise, stay tuned as this site gets more interesting. I’ll give it my best try to make it a comprehensive one. For that, you guys have to pour in your pictures and experiences.
You can know about trek, trekking routes, mountains, caves, forts, waterfalls, nature walks, rock climbing, white water rafting, picnic spots, wild life sanctuaries, forest, Himalayan expedition, tours and travels across India.
Moreover, you’ll be able to share your experience and post it to my website. In this way we make it a place, people would love to visit frequently.
